Whispering Waters

We rent only 3 rooms, so you can always find a private place to sit outside on the porch in a rocker or swing to watch the wildlife. Deer, Wild Turkey, Egrets, Heron and a variety of song birds are frequent visitors. You may also meet Tarzan, the racoon, climbing down the tree in the front yard in the evening on his nightly jaunt. For a closer look at the wildlife or stars ask to use our telescope. Grills, picnic area and hot tub are also available for your use.

The front entrance has a large pond with koi and gold fish, a variety of blooming water plants, a bridge that goes across the ponds to the front porch and surrounded with flower gardens. There are numerous old buildings on the nearly 5 acres, including a large oak and walnut barn.


All the rooms are furnished with antiques. A bountiful breakfast is served on vintage china and crystal. An evening snack tray with cheese and fruit or fresh baked muffins or cookies are provided along with a complimentary drink.

For those preferring to dine outside, while listening to the whispering waters, there is a screened back porch, with available dining table for a romantic private breakfast. There is a long front and side porch with rockers and a swing.
